Possibly one the most original BMW 2002s we've seen in many years, and certainly the most solid rust free car that has not been restored! Please note, ALL pictures were taken the way the car looked as it was removed from storage, NO interior cleaning , only an outside rinse. We will post updated pictures of the car after detailing shortly. The interior upholstery is in good shape, the seats have no tears BUT all the horsehair is dried up. The covers are still soft and pliable, NOT sun dried! The carpet is very nice, it looks as though the car always had floor mats. The dash is like new and uncracked. The headliner is in good condition, though it needs some cleaning. No tears as I recall. The engine is strong and solid. Runs very well! It idles smoothly, with no noises. It started _instantly_ after sitting for 2 plus years, a few moments later a quick blip of the throttle the idle dropped immediately. The carb has been changed to a Weber, and that was installed with the original air filter housing and intake snorkel .. very clean and neat install, actually fooled me at first as most Webers don't get this detailed an installation.
