Below is a customers E28 M5 that was campaigned in One Lap of America. During the race, the original 3.6L motor that had been built by another shop, began consuming a quart of oil every 500 miles, subsequently retiring the car from the race. After the car returned to VSR, it was decided that a 3.8L S38B38 motor would be installed in place of the original M88. Other add-on's such as performance cams and a MAF meter made their way into the mix as well. All together it resulted in one great track day package!
